The Department of Valuation and Property Services (JPPH) was established in 1956 under the Ministry of Finance Malaysia. JPPH is responsible for valuation services for real and movable property for government purposes including stamp duty, land acquisition, real property gains tax (RPGT), and government agency asset valuation.
Today, JPPH operates 24 offices across Malaysia including state offices in Sabah, Sarawak, Penang, Johor, Selangor, Perak, and others.

- 1992 — Separated into Department of Valuation and Property Services (JPPH)
